Please join us at our annual meeting for updates, refreshments, community and a demo by Radhika Srinivas.
After a brief review of the current state of affairs and upcoming events by our president, Michael Adams, celebrated watercolorist and former PWCS president, Radhika Srinivas will discuss her recent work and demonstrate her painting techniques during what we know will be an inspiring demo.
Creating mood and atmosphere in watercolor involves more than just painting subjects; it’s about using layers, colors, and techniques to evoke emotions and set a scene. With a Limited Palette, Radhika Srinivas will demonstrate how to set the tone for a painting with initial washes and using different layering techniques on the under-washes.
While you are here, you can see this year’s International Exhibition of Works on Paper in the adjacent Henry Gallery.
Appetizers and refreshments will be available. Register if you plan to attend so we can order food and drink accordingly. Thanks, see you then!
The Henry Gallery is on the second floor of the Conference Center at Penn State Great Valley, just off of Route 202 at Route 29, with easy access from the east or west on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. See it on Google Maps.
